A journey back to the body, the earth, and what truly heals
For more than 20 years, I lived in the shadow of chronic illness — navigating layers of fatigue, pain, mysterious symptoms, and deep unknowing. As my healing started to unfold, mold exposure and environmental illness shaped much of my world. Conventional answers were few, and healing felt like a far-off dream.
But slowly, I began listening to the quiet whispers — the ones that led me back to the body, back to the seasons, back to the rhythms of the natural world. It wasn’t a straight path, and it’s still unfolding because healing never really stops. It is rooted in deep respect for the body’s wisdom and the earth’s gentle guidance. It's also from there that I studied to become holistic nutritionist and clinical herbalist. Healing with the nature was for me the most potent form; the interconnectedness of the mind, the body and his surroundings.
Rooted in Rhythms was born from this path — not as a destination, but as a gathering space for those who are also seeking something slower, softer, and more aligned.
Here, I share:
- Holistic nourishment rooted in whole, seasonal foods
- Plant wisdom and gentle herbal support
- Reflections on slowing down, living intentionally, naturally, seasonally and by tuning into your own rhythm
This space is for anyone navigating through their healing journey, simply longing for a more grounded way of being, or just wanting to live a holistic lifestyle. Healing may not always be linear, but it can be deeply sacred. In some ways, we all have something to heal.
Rooted in Rhythms is not just a blog. It’s a quiet revolution — one that begins in the soil, in the breath, in the remembering.
Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here with me,
— Nancy Henaut
